Secure, convenient and personalized cryptocurrency transactions through the Metrofino OTC Desk.
Buying and selling Bitcoin should be simple. Metrofino provides a secure and convenient way to buy or sell cryptocurrency, whether you prefer to visit one of our physical locations or complete the process through our OTC Desk.
There are times when visiting a physical location simply isn't convenient. Whether the weather isn't cooperating, transportation is difficult, you're managing a larger transaction, or you simply prefer the comfort of home, Metrofino gives you another option.
Through the Metrofino OTC Desk, eligible individuals and businesses can submit an application, complete the required identity and compliance review, and work directly with our team for qualifying cryptocurrency transactions.
Never purchase or send cryptocurrency because someone claiming to represent a government agency, law enforcement organization, bank, employer, romantic interest, technical support service, or another third party instructed you to do so.
Always use a cryptocurrency wallet that you personally own and control. Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible.
Please review the following agreement before proceeding with an Individual or Entity application.
This Over-the-Counter (OTC) Desk Trading Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Metrofino ("Company") and the party ("Client"), collectively referred to as the "Parties" and individually as a "Party".
In addition to this Agreement, please review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
By checking the box associated with this Agreement, the Client agrees to engage in OTC trading with the Company under the terms outlined herein, including any appendices or schedules attached hereto, which are incorporated by reference.
By using the OTC platform, the Client agrees to the following conditions:
a. The Client affirms that they are using the Company's platform for their own personal use only, without being under the control or direction of any other person.
b. The Client warrants that they are the true and rightful owner of the cryptocurrency addresses used in transactions with the Company.
c. The Client ensures that they are not using the Company's platform to purchase cryptocurrency in violation of any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
d. The Client acknowledges that all executed cryptocurrency transactions are final and irreversible.
e. The Client agrees that the Company is not liable for any loss or damage incurred in connection with the use of Metrofino's OTC platform.
f. The Client is responsible for their own record-keeping and for understanding the tax consequences of transactions conducted through the Company.
In using the Company's platform, the Client agrees to comply with all applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines and regulations.
As part of our commitment to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing, the Company reserves the right to request additional information from the Client to verify their identity, source of funds, and assess transactional behavior.
Submission and verification of requested information are prerequisites for account creation. The Company reserves the right to deny, approve, limit, or terminate accounts based upon its compliance review.
The Client agrees to the charging of transaction fees by the Company for use of its services. The applicable fee structure will be disclosed at the time of the transaction.
The Client may submit requests to buy or sell digital assets through the Company's OTC Desk. Upon receipt of a trade request, the Company may provide a cryptocurrency quote which the Client must accept within the specified timeframe.
If purchasing cryptocurrency, the Client will deliver payment to the Company by the agreed-upon deadline.
The name on the originating payment account must match the Client name provided to Metrofino. Metrofino reserves the right to reject payments that do not satisfy this requirement.
If selling cryptocurrency, the Client will transfer the specified cryptocurrency from a wallet owned and controlled by the Client.
An Event of Default may occur if the Client fails to make required payment or cryptocurrency delivery, provides false or misleading information, or violates a material term of this Agreement.
In the event of default, the Company may cancel pending transactions, terminate this Agreement, or exercise other remedies permitted by law.
Don't be a victim of crypto scammers. It is likely a scam if you are directed to Metrofino by anyone demanding payment in cryptocurrency, including purported government agencies, attorneys, law enforcement, employers, romantic interests you haven't met in person, or people asking you to use their cryptocurrency wallet.
ALL CRYPTOCURRENCY TRANSACTIONS ARE IRREVERSIBLE. FUNDS SENT TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT MAY NOT BE RECOVERABLE BY METROFINO.
Always use your own cryptocurrency wallet and carefully verify the wallet address before completing a transaction.
Both Parties represent and warrant that they have authority to enter into this Agreement, will comply with applicable laws and regulations, and will provide accurate and complete information.
Both Parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of trading terms, transactions, and information exchanged during execution of this Agreement except where disclosure is required by law or regulatory authorities.
The Company provides OTC trading services "as is." The Client acknowledges the risks associated with digital asset trading, including market volatility and regulatory uncertainty.
The Company's liability under this Agreement shall be limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the value of the trade in dispute. In no event shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with applicable Michigan rules, whose decision shall be final and binding.
This Agreement may be amended only by written agreement of both Parties. Either Party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice to the other Party.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, both written and oral.
By proceeding with the application, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement, including the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
